An Erasmus Days event themed “One Chance, One Planet, One Responsibility” was organized in Çubuk, a district of Ankara. The event took place at the Çubuk Science and Art Center (BİLSEM), with significant contributions from the academic staff of our university.
Coordinated by the District Directorate of National Education and conducted within the scope of the SoilVET Project, the program included trainings on current and critical topics such as sustainable environment, green transformation, eco-friendly technology, and environmental awareness.
During the event, Dr. Hüseyin Şahin, Faculty Member of the Aircraft Technology Program, delivered a presentation titled “Operating Principles of Electric Vehicles and Their Future Role.” In his presentation, Dr. Şahin discussed the development of electric vehicle technologies, their importance in environmental sustainability, and their potential future impact from an academic perspective.
Additionally, BİLSEM Technology and Design Teacher Özgün Devrim presented the project, while Mehmet Ada, International Projects Officer of the District Directorate of National Education R&D Unit, informed participants about the objectives and ongoing activities of the SoilVET Project.
Following the academic presentations and briefings, the event concluded with a demonstration of electric vehicles for the participants.
