Şahin Yeşilyurt

Assoc. Prof. Şahin Yeşilyurt graduated from the Department of Public Finance at Dokuz Eylül University in 2012. He completed the Joint Master's Degree Program of Bülent Ecevit University and Sakarya University in 2014, and the PhD Program in Public Finance at the Institute of Social Sciences, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, in 2020. He was awarded the title of Associate Professor in the field of Public Finance in 2023. During his doctoral studies and the postdoctoral period, he conducted research as a visiting researcher at the Faculty of History at the University of Cambridge for one year in each of the 2018–2019 and 2023–2024 periods, supported by scholarships provided by TÜBİTAK. Currently serving as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Deputy Head of the Department of Public Finance at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Assoc. Prof. Yeşilyurt conducts research in the fields of the history of public finance, Ottoman fiscal history, public finance during the Republican period, and the history of Islamic economic thought.

Şahin Eray Kırdım holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Law and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Selçuk University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Focusing his academic career on law, Kırdım completed his Master's and doctoral studies in International Law at the School of Law of Case Western Reserve University in the United States, earning the degree of Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.). Since 2023, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. He teaches law-related courses at the Faculty of Political Sciences, including Introduction to Law, Constitutional Law, and International Law. Kırdım's research focuses on the use of force in international law, customary international law, and the powers of United Nations organs under international law. He has published articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals as well as books published by international academic publishers on these subjects. He is currently conducting research on critical approaches to international law, examining the role of international law in the unequal structure of the international system.
