Within the scope of the ERASMUS+ project 2023-2-TR01-KA220-YOU-000182116 “CHERISH – Cultural Heritage Recovery after Disasters and Conflicts: Understanding, Training, and Empowerment”, of which Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University is a partner, the International Youth Cultural Heritage Camp will be held. The camp will take place in the Umbria region of Italy on 13–19 October 2025, and applications will be accepted until Wednesday, 10 September 2025, 23:59 (Türkiye time). Selected candidates will be informed following the evaluation process.
This international youth camp focuses on the protection of cultural heritage in post-disaster contexts and resilience, offering participants the chance to learn, share, and gain experience alongside peers and experts from different countries. Through workshops, cultural visits, and group activities, participants will improve their knowledge and awareness, while also benefiting from international collaboration and cultural exchange opportunities.
Participants will be accommodated in a student dormitory in Spoleto, with all meals provided by the organization. At the end of the program, all participants will receive a certificate of participation.
Eligibility requirements include being a student or staff member of AYBU Faculty of Architecture, being between 18–30 years old, and having at least B1 level English proficiency. The quota for AYBU is limited.
