1) Bir öğrenci, mezun olabilmesi için eğitim süresi boyunca 2 Üniversite Seçmeli dersi, 1 Fakülte Seçmeli dersi, 6 Bölüm Seçmeli dersi almak zorundadır.
2) Bir son sınıf öğrencisi Mezuniyet için toplam 6 adet Bölüm Seçmeli dersi (Güz döneminde 2 adet, Bahar döneminde 4 adet) almak zorundadır.
3) Önceki yıllarda bazı öğrenciler Engineering Materials dersini aldılar. Bu ders, bir Bölüm seçmeli dersi yerine sayılacaktır.
4) Haziran 2019 sonuna kadar mezun olabilecek öğrenci, fazla bölüm seçmeli dersi alabilir ancak danışmanının iznini almak zorundadır.
5) Bölüm seçmeli dersleri için kontenjan sınırı vardır. Her bölüm seçmeli dersini ancak 30 öğrenci alabilir.

IN ENGLISH- ABOUT THE ELECTIVE COURSES
1) A student who has to take 2 University Elective courses, 1 Faculty Elective course, and 6 Department Elective Courses throughout his/her education period to graduate .
2) A last year student who has to take 6 Department Elective courses (2 Department Elective courses in Fall semester, 4 Department Elective courses in Spring semester).
3) Some students took Engineering Materials course in the previous years. This course will be counted on instead of a department elective course
4) Student who will might be graduated in the end of the June 2019 can take more department elective course than usual but he has to get his supervisor’s approval .
5) There is a quota restriction for Department Elective courses. Each Department Elective course can be taken by only 30 students.
