As part of Library Week, these events will offer training sessions on the effective use of academic databases for our university’s academic and administrative staff as well as students. Databases provided by digital resource vendors from all disciplines will be introduced, and participants will be shown—through practical demonstrations—how to benefit from these resources in their research processes.
Within the scope of the event program, training sessions will be organized in separate sessions tailored to different faculties. The aim is to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge of various digital resources that they can utilize in their academic research.
In addition, during the event, participants will have the chance to win prizes through raffles, including 5 tablets, 6 wireless headphones, thermoses, and various surprise gifts. Each session will feature its own raffle. The training will consist of five sessions, and students who complete the designated Google Forms will be eligible to participate in the raffles.
Raffle participation requirements:
• Must be an AYBU student
• Must follow the @aybukutuphane Instagram account
• Must be physically present in the hall where the training sessions are held at the time of the raffle
(Those not present during the raffle will forfeit their rights, and prizes will be transferred to alternate winners.)
