The ANKOSLink2025 International Conference, which began with the opening remarks of Prof. Dr. Erol ÖZVAR, President of the Council of Higher Education, addressed topics such as Library 5.0 and human-centered digital transformation, preservation and continuous access to digital content, artificial intelligence and ethics, AI and research tools, the use of AI in academic publishing, transformation in academic publishing, transformative agreements, the reconstruction of academic knowledge through AI, librarians’ competencies, developments in publishing, equality in access to information, sharing models, and professional challenges.
Our university participated actively in the three-day international conference, represented by our Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz KÖSEOĞLU, Head of Department Halil GÜRBÜZ, branch managers Kader ÇELİK and Meryem PINARBAŞI, as well as our librarians.
During the closing speech of the conference, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan highlighted the ongoing progress across education, culture, and many other fields, stating:
“Today, with our educational institutions from preschool to postdoctoral levels, our libraries, and our youth centers, we are raising the bar higher every day. Together with our Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Ministry of National Education, universities, foundations, and local administrations, we continue to preserve and develop our librarianship heritage.”
