"Academic Visibility Strategies Applied Training" was held at our university on March 28, 2024. After the training, academic visibility coordinators were assigned to all academic units. The second Academic Visibility Coordinators Meeting was held on May 16, 2024, in order to evaluate the activities carried out by the coordinators in the units regarding academic visibility, and the third one will be held on July 4, 2024, with our Rector Prof. Dr. Prof. Dr. Ali Cengiz KÖSEOĞLU, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ORÇAN, Quality Commission Member Prof. Dr. Ahmet Salih YİĞİT and Dr. Lecturer It was held with the participation of member Abdullah DEMİR.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. In his speeches, Ali Cengiz KÖSEOĞLU stated that they provided all kinds of support to increase academic visibility and that they would try to meet the demands to the extent possible and thanked the coordinators who contributed.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ORÇAN stated that, as the University Administration, they support activities to increase academic visibility and will regularly monitor the results.

Quality Commission Member Dr. Abdullah DEMİR presented information about the results of the activities carried out by the unit academic visibility coordinators between 28 March and 4 July 2024. According to the information provided by DEMİR, as of March 28, there were a total of 44,825 publications in the AYBU AVESIS system, and with the support of academic visibility coordinators, as of July 4, 47,736 publications were reached and an increase of 2,911 was observed. Similarly, the number of publications addressed to AYBÜ in the Web of Science database increased from 7,077 to 7,438, and the number of publications in SCOPUS increased from 6,721 to 6,962. These publication numbers include new publications and studies with data corrections. With the data corrections made, publications with WoS and SCOPUS addresses, which were published in previous years but were not reflected in our University's publication numbers due to missing or incorrect registration of the institution name, were reduced to a minimum.
After the presentations, unit academic visibility coordinators took the floor and gave information about the academic visibility activities they carried out in their units between 28 March and 4 July 2024 and expressed their suggestions for these activities.
Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa ORÇAN stated that, taking into account the suggestions expressed by the Coordinators in the previous meeting, new academic visibility coordinators were appointed for units with a large number of faculty members and an "Academic Visibility Page" was created on the AYBU Quality Coordination website.
