Institutional Internal Evaluation Report (KIDR) Information Meeting
An information meeting on the Institutional Internal Evaluation Report (KIDR) was held by our Coordination Office on January 18, 2024, at the 15 July Campus. The opening speech of the meeting was delivered on behalf of the Rector by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Abdullah YILDIZ, who is responsible for quality affairs. In his speech, he stated that the report preparation process serves as a preliminary study for our University’s Institutional External Evaluation, Institutional Accreditation, Monitoring, and Interim Evaluation processes, while also representing an effective teamwork practice for the establishment of a quality culture.
Following the opening speech, former President of Higher Education Quality Council of Türkiye (YÖKAK), faculty member of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, and member of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye Assembly, Prof. Dr. Muhsin KAR, shared his knowledge and experiences regarding Institutional Accreditation and the KIDR process.
During the meeting, presentations were delivered under the four main headings included in the KIDR Report. The presentations continued as follows:
- Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Ahmet Salih YİĞİT discussed the points to be considered during the preparation of the KIDR report.
- Assistant Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hasan Engin ŞENER gave a presentation on the writing of the sections titled Leadership, Governance and Quality, and Research and Development.
- Dr. Lecturer Şemsettin TABUR presented the Education and Training section.
- Finally, Dr. Lecturer Abdullah DEMİR addressed the issues to be considered while preparing the Social Contribution section.
