Academic Data Management System Conference
The "Academic Data Management System" conference, organized by the Quality Coordination Office of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, was held.During the conference, a moment of silence was observed in memory of our citizens and AYBÜ students who lost their lives in the earthquake. The opening speech of the conference was given by our Rector, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydınlı. In his speech, Aydınlı emphasized the importance of academic data systems and stated their intention to launch a new system. He mentioned that the Avesis system will be developed with the support of academic staff.
At the conference, Prof. Dr. Adem Kalınlı, a faculty member at METU, delivered a presentation titled "Global Transformations and Data-Driven Strategic Management in Higher Education." Prof. Dr. Ahmet Salih Yiğit, Chair of the AYBÜ Accreditation Commission, gave a presentation on "Research - Institutional and Individual Visibility and Impact at AYBÜ."
The Academic Data Management System conference was regarded as an important step toward the development of the academic data system of our university. The speakers emphasized the importance of data-driven strategic management in higher education and made suggestions to enable our university to take a more active role in the academic field. At the end of the conference, gifts were presented to the participants.
