An online webinar entitled "Quality Assurance System in Higher Education and Student Participation" was organized by our university's Quality Coordination Ofiice and Higher Education Quality Board (HEQB). Our Quality Coordinator Prof. Dr. Erol ARCAKLIOĞLU, Deputy Coordinator Hasan Engin ŞENER, Quality Commission members and our students had a wide and interactive participation. In the seminar moderated by Süheyla ERİKLİ, first of all, HEQB Student Commission Academic Coordinator Dr. Instructor Member Gonca ULUDAĞ made a presentation on the activities of the Higher Education Quality Board Student Commission.
Our students, who are among the internal stakeholders of the Quality Assurance System, were informed about HEQB, Quality system and Institutional Self Evaluation reports. In addition, "National Accreditation Institutions Authorized by HEQB" were introduced to our students and awareness was raised about whether the programs they study are accredited. Burak Tunahan EKİNCİKLİ, Member of HEQB Student Commission, made a presentation about the student commission and quality ambassadors. Finally, HEQB Student Commission Member A.Feraye YILMAZ made evaluations about how students take part in quality processes, what they do and student quality societies. The "Quality Assurance System in Higher Education and Student Participation" webinar held on April 20, 2021, in which our students participated heavily, ended after questions and answers.
