Welcome to the Department of International Trade and Business at AYBU Business School. Since our establishment, our mission has been to combine strong academic knowledge with practical experience, preparing our students to become influential leaders in the global arena.
Founded in 2011, our department reached a milestone in 2017 when we proudly graduated our first cohort. Today, we are honored to rank as the second highest-scoring state university program in International Trade and Business in Türkiye, and to consistently be placed among the top ten programs nationwide, across both state and foundation universities. This achievement is not only the result of our students’ and faculty members’ dedication, but also a reflection of our unwavering commitment to providing an outstanding learning environment.
Looking ahead, we have placed sustainability—one of the defining challenges of our time—at the very heart of our academic vision. Every member of our faculty actively engages in this field through their research and projects, and we continue to develop collaborative initiatives at the departmental level. Importantly, we invite our students not only into classrooms, but also into these ongoing projects, encouraging them to become active contributors.
We are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive education, offering students opportunities to engage both in academic processes and in community impact initiatives. We also maintain strong ties with our alumni network, which connects our department with diverse industries and firms. Through regular seminars, we ensure that our students remain in close contact with the latest dynamics of the business world.
Each year, we conduct internal performance reviews and update our curriculum in line with the evolving needs of industry. At the same time, we support our students in project development by submitting collective project applications at the departmental level and encouraging their active involvement.
As Mustafa Kemal Atatürk famously said: “The future belongs to the youth.” Guided by this vision, we strive to prepare our students not only for today, but for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. With a strong focus on education, research, and societal impact, we are determined to push boundaries and achieve even greater success.
