An information session on the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Undergraduate Research Projects Support Program was organized at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, with the aim of increasing undergraduate students’ participation in research activities and supporting their project development processes. The event took place on Monday, October 27th at 13:00 in A Block of the Esenboğa Campus.
During the program, Research Assistant M. Mustafa Iyi from the Department of Sociology provided comprehensive information on the objectives and scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A program, how to determine an original research topic, and the fundamental steps of project writing through the demonstration of a sample project. Important points to consider during the application process and essential aspects of scientific research methods were also shared with the participants.
The event, which is expected to contribute to the increase in the number of undergraduate research projects carried out within our faculty, concluded with a question-and-answer session.
