ENROLLMENT
· On the dates specified by the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences
· Candidates who are successful in the interview/written exam, enrolls by applying online.
TAKING COURSE
· Course add-drop procedures shall be carried out by the students via ÖİBS within the period determined in the graduate academic calendar. Adding and dropping courses shall be completed after the student's finalization and approval of the advisor / thesis advisor. The course add-drop registrations that have not been finalized by the student or approved by the advisor / thesis advisor are not accepted by the ÖİBS.
· Student has to take 7 Courses and Research Methods and Ethics course at graduate programs. Student has also to take the Special Studies course each semester until graduation. Student has also to take the Seminar course in the last semester in which student will complete all courses.
In addition to the Special Studies course, graduate student has also to take the MASTER'S THESIS course until graduation after they have started their thesis work.
In addition to the Special Studies course, Ph.D. student has to take the STUDY FOR Ph.D QUALIFYING EXAM course after when completed all courses in the period of the Doctoral Qualifying Exam.
In addition to the Special Studies course, the student has also to take the Thesis Proposal Study course at the beginning of the semester (during the period when he/she will present the Thesis Proposal) after the PhD qualification is passed.
· Again, from the time student started doctoral thesis until he/she graduates, in addition to the Special Studies course, he/she has to take the PhD DISSERTATION course.
· In order for the student to pass the thesis phase, he / she must take courses for at least two semesters and have successfully completed all the courses, a seminar and other learning activities required for the relevant program.
· In order for the Non-Thesis Master's student to pass the term project phase, he/she must take courses for two semesters and successfully complete all the courses required for the relevant program (10 elective courses and a Specialization field course each semester).
Students registering in graduate programs must take at least half of the total course credits required by the program they register in.
The maximum number of courses a student can take in a semester cannot exceed five. Seminar, fields of specialization course and term project are not included in this issue.
Upon the proposal of the academic department board and the decision of the institute board of directors, students can take a maximum of two graduate courses from other higher education institutions in Turkey and abroad.
· No course taken in a graduated program can be re-substitute in another program.
· Some departments may offer compulsory courses. Student should get information about such courses from Head of Department.
SPECIAL STUDENTS’ COURSE TAKING
Students enrolled in other institutes take courses from our institute according to the following principles
On the dates determined by the Institute.
Student applies online first.
· After applying online
· The student applies to our Institute with the Administrative Board Decision, Student Certificate and Transcript taken from the own university.
· The decision of the Institute Executive Board is sent to the student affairs (ÖİDB) with a cover letter to be added applied students’ courses.
· In the end of the semester, their transcripts are sent to their universities and their registrations are deleted by the decision of the Institute Executive Board.
Our Students’ taking course from other institutes
The student applies to other Institute where he/she will take the course with the Board Decision, Student Certificate and Transcript which are taken from our Institute.
