Course Substitution
Graduate courses taken by a student without meeting the graduation requirement from domestic/international higher education institutions at most two semesters before enrolling in the institute may be substituted at the program in which student is registered depending on the opinion of the supervisor, the recommendation of the department board, and the decision of the executive board of the institute. Such substitution cannot exceed 50% of the number of courses of the relevant graduate program except seminars, special studies course, term projects and thesis studies. This provision does not apply to students who are accepted through horizontal transfer from non-thesis master's programs to thesis based master's programs.
In order for course substitution to be made in graduate programs where education language is English, the language of instruction of the previously taken courses must be the same as the language of instruction of the program to be accepted. This provision does not apply to students who are accepted through horizontal transfer from non-thesis master's programs to thesis based master's programs.
No course taken in a graduated program can be transferred to another program.
