Summer School in Italy for University Students in the Field of Electronic Components and Systems between 20-25 August 2023!
A new Summer School program has been launched by the Industry Associations – AENEAS, EPoSS and INSIDE – forming the Key Digital Technologies (KDT) Partnership – targeting students enrolled in at least two years of undergraduate education and with at least one more year.
In this context, the first one will be held in Bertinoro, near Bologna/Italy, on 20-25 August 2023, under the name 'Fascinating Electronics for a Cool World'. This program is intended to inspire new talent in the European Electronic Components and Systems community. Responding to the need to accelerate and advance skills development in the Electronic Components and Systems sector, the Industry Associations - AENEAS, EPoSS and INSIDE - aim to introduce selected students to the fascinating world of some of the possibilities offered by current microelectronic devices and envisioned future applications.
Eligibility Criteria for Students: The five-day Summer School is completely free for selected students, including accommodation and meals. Transportation costs to the place where the summer school will be held will be covered on a receipt basis, up to a total of 500 Euros per student. It is for students who are enrolled in at least two years of undergraduate education and have at least one more year.
Students from all fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) at a university located in the EU or associated country are eligible to apply. Knowledge of English is required as the program will be in English.
The application deadline is 30 April 2023, 17:00 (Brussels Time). Selection from students applying will be based on a letter of motivation, one to three letters of recommendation, and transcripts. Selected students will be announced on 31 May.
