Topic: Cascode LNA with Middle Inductor and CS Configuration
Room: CB-208
Abstract: The design and analysis of a cascode low-noise amplifier (LNA) using an inductive peaking element between the common-source (CS) and common-gate (CG) transistors will be presented in this study. By reducing the impacts of parasitic capacitances, the added middle inductor increases gain performance, improves impedance matching, and increases the amplifier bandwidth. The proposed topology is implemented in a common-source input configuration to provide low noise figure and high gain appropriate for RF receiver front-end applications. The suggested architecture is a viable option for contemporary wireless communication systems because of these features.
