Students who wish to enroll in the ENGR450 course must meet the requirements determined by the department in addition to the university and faculty requirements.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering requirements are provided below.
Application Criteria
- The candidate must not have any missing courses from the first and second years (1st and 2nd year), regardless of the reason.
- The candidate may take at most two courses from the 3rd year during the semester in which they enroll in ENGR450.
- The minimum GPA requirement is 2.75 (Updated: 24.01.2024).
- The company must employ at least one electrical and/or electronics engineer.
- The company must employ at least three engineers in total.
- The student must work at the company at least two days per week.
Application Documents
- Current transcript.
- An official signed and stamped document obtained from the company, including:
- Confirmation that the company accepts the student (including student’s full name and ID number),
- The dates during which the student will work at the company,
- The number of working days per week,
- A brief introduction of the company and the number of engineers currently employed (e.g., 3 electrical-electronics engineers, 2 mechanical engineers, etc.).

Application Dates
Applications will be accepted between 15.09.2025 – 01.10.2025.Evaluation Process
The evaluation process will be conducted based on the student's work presented before a three-member jury. Each student is required to submit reports during both the midterm and final periods.Application documents must be scanned and sent to the student’s advisor via email. Students whose applications are accepted must submit the original documents to the Department Chair’s Office after the announcement of acceptance.
Please do not attempt to submit documents in person during the application phase, as hard copy submissions will not be accepted.
