Following the protocol speeches, traditional Nawruz cultural practices were carried out, including iron forging, the Semeni fertility tray, egg tapping, and the serving of Nawruz rice. “Breezes from the Turkic World” concert, which attracted great interest from our international students, was also held.
AYBU-HAK-İŞ Nawruz Celebration Program
A Nawruz Program was held in cooperation with AYBU and HAK-İŞ. Alongside HAK-İŞ President Mahmut Arslan, Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Yeşil, the Chairman of the HAK-İŞ Turkic World and Related Communities Committee; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Kutalmış Yalçın, the Türkiye Representative of TÜRKSOY; Prof. Dr. Harun Şahin, Vice President of the Turkish Language Association; as well as students from the Turkic world, academicians and members of the press attended the programme.
