An iftar dinner programme was organized for international students studying in AYBU LEARC Turkish Preparatory School. AYBU Rector Prof.Dr. İbrahim AYDINLI, Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Hüseyin ÇINAR and Prof.Dr. Arif ANKARALI, academicians and students from 50 different countries participated in the programme, organized in AYBU 15 Temmuz Şehitleri Campus (The July 15 Martyrs' Building).
Having a heart-to-heart talk with students and adressing his remarks to them, Prof.Dr. İbrahim AYDINLI expressed that the holy month of Ramadan is the month of peace and tranquility, uniting whole humanity and that the iftar dinner programme, gathering many people from various nations and religions, is an example for this issue. Rector Aydinli, characterizing the attacks against Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first Qiblah for the Muslims, as inhumane, wished unity, solidarity and peace for the Islamic world by expressing that Türkiye has always stood by the Palestinian people and upheld the Palestinian cause. Rector Aydinli wished international students success all for their academic lives by congratulating them on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan.
At the end of the iftar dinner programme, Rector Aydinli awarded Palestinian students a Turkish Flag, embrodired with philography technique and the programme finalized with the speech made by Mesud Danismend from Karluk Turks on behalf of the students.
