AYBU Language Education Application and Research Center (LEARC) Director Lect. Bünyamin OĞUZ and AYBU LEARC Assistant Director Lect. Dr. Latif İLTAR participated in “Language Barrier in Health and Mental Health Service Delivery Workshop”, organized by General Direcorate of Public Health of the Ministry of Health of Türkiye and German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and shared their experiences, in the briefing called “Glossary of Healthcare Terms in the context of Vocational Turkish”, on methods to overcome language barriers in access to healthcare services by means of a “Glossary of Medical Terms for Foreigners and Vocational Turkish on Health Sciences for Foreigners”, designed with the contributions made by our language center lecturers.
