A Handover Ceremony Was Held at the Department of Child Development at AYBÜ.

A handover of duties took place in the Department of Child Development at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. Founding Department Chair Prof. Dr. Fatma Elif ERGİN, who served as Department Chair for 10 years since the department’s establishment, handed over her duties to Deputy Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Merve İMİR. During her tenure, Prof. Dr. Fatma Elif ERGİN made significant contributions to establishing the department’s academic structure, launching undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs, conducting curriculum development, and enhancing educational processes. Prof. Dr. ERGİN, who has led the department’s institutionalization and development, is thanked for her valuable contributions and dedicated efforts to the department. Assoc. Prof. Dr. H. Merve İMİR, who has assumed the role of Department Chair in the new term, is expected to lead efforts to further advance the department’s academic legacy and institutional development. We wish her success in her new role. The AYBÜ Department of Child Development will continue to pursue its academic endeavors with the same determination and spirit of collaboration in the coming period.
