Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) Scientist Support Programmes Directorate (BİDEB) conducted by 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Programme and 2209-B University Students Research Projects Support Programme for Industry 2023 2nd period call list of those entitled to support was published.
Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBÜ) was entitled to be supported with a total of 67 projects, 61 projects within the scope of 2209-A and 6 projects within the scope of 2209-B from TÜBİTAK-BİDEB undergraduate and associate degree student projects.
Within the scope of 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Programme; 1 project from the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences, 3 projects from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, 6 projects from the Faculty of Business Administration, 26 projects from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, 22 projects from the Faculty of Health Sciences, 1 project from the Faculty of Political Sciences, 1 project from the Faculty of Sports Sciences, 1 project from the Faculty of Medicine, while within the scope of 2209-B University Students Research Projects Support Programme for Industry, a total of 67 projects will be supported, including 1 project from the Faculty of Aviation and Space Sciences and 5 projects from the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
About 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Programme
The aim of the 2209-A Programme is to encourage undergraduate students to conduct research through projects and to provide associate degree students with a project preparation culture before their undergraduate education. In this call announcement, university students are encouraged to prepare research projects within the framework of "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)". The SDGs, which have become an issue that is constantly emphasised on the United Nations (UN) agenda, generally cover issues related to ending poverty, combating inequality and injustice, economic growth, energy, production/consumption, industrialisation and climate change.
About 2209-B University Students Research Projects Support Programme
2209-B University Students Research Projects Support for Industry Programme aims to encourage associate/undergraduate students studying at universities to conduct research and participate in the research ecosystem through industry-oriented projects. Within the scope of the programme, students can be guided by an academic advisor from universities as well as an industrial advisor working in R&D/design centres, technoparks or resident capital companies within industrial establishments operating within the scope of the Organised Industrial Zones Law No. 4562.
