Announcement on Additional Exams to be Held in Undergraduate Programs at the end of the 2021-2022 Academic Year Spring Semester

1) According to the provision of sub-clause (1) of paragraph (2) of Article 25 of the Regulation on Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, “Except three courses of the program in which he/she is registered until the last semester/year, he/she can take the other courses according to the provisions of this Regulation. The student who successfully completes the program, fulfills all the obligations related to the program, and has a general academic achievement grade point average of 2.00 or higher, is entitled to an additional examination.For the three courses that are included in the general academic achievement grade point average and are unsuccessful, the right to take an additional exam is given for once until the beginning of the following semester/year at the latest. In the Faculty of Medicine, this period is until the family physician education year-intern education.”

-Failed lessons; These are the courses that the student takes and stays by providing the attendance condition.

Students cannot take additional exams from the courses they have received a letter grade of DZ and have never taken.

2) According to the clause (f) sub-clause (2) of the Article 25 of the Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Regulations of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, “Students whose general academic achievement grade point average is below 2.00, even though they did not receive (FF) or (FD) grades in the last semester/year, can apply for a maximum of three additional exams from the courses they received (DD), (DC) or (CC) grades in the last two semesters/year. There will be no make-up exam for those who do not take this exam.”

3) Students who fail in these exams have to take the failed courses by registering for the courses in the first semester they are opened. DStudents who do not register for a course will not be given the right to take an additional exam again. The time in between is included in the maximum training period.

4) The grade obtained in the Additional Exam is valid and will be recorded on the transcript.

5) The passing letter grade is CC.
