Additional Exam Procedures
1) In accordance with the provisions of sub-clause (1), sub-clause (f) of the Article 25 of the Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Regulation of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, "A student who successfully completes all the courses except three courses in the last semester/year in accordance with the provisions of this Regulation, can be admitted to the program. The student who fulfills all the obligations regarding the academic achievement and has a grade point average of 2.00 or higher is entitled to an additional examination. For the three courses that are included in the general academic achievement grade point average and are unsuccessful, the right to take an additional exam is given for once until the beginning of the following semester/year at the latest. In the Faculty of Medicine, this period is until the family physician period education-intern education.”
-Unsuccessful courses: These are the courses taken and failed by meeting the attendance condition.
-Those who get a letter grade of DZ and those who want to take the exam from the courses they have never taken cannot take the additional exams.
2) According to the clause (f) sub-clause (2) of the Article 25 of the Associate Degree and Undergraduate Education Regulations of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, “Although they did not receive (FF) and (FD) grades in the last semester/year, their general academic success grade Students whose average score is below 2.00 can take an additional exam for at most three courses for which they have received a grade of (DD), (DC) or (CC) in the last two semesters/year. Make-up exams are not opened for those who do not take this exam.”
3) Students who fail in these exams have to take the failed courses by registering for the courses in the first semester they are opened. The student who does not register for the course will not be given the right to take the Additional Exam again. The time in between is included in the maximum training period.
4) The grade obtained in the Additional Exam is valid and will be recorded on the transcript.
5) The passing letter grade is CC.
6) Additional Exams will be made through the AYBUZEM system.
