The LAP Club Speaking class facilitator training taster workshop was conducted by learning advisor educators Gamze Güven Yalçın, Ebru Sınar Okutucu and Gökçe Arslan Aşan with AYBU SFL lecturers.
25 lecturers participated in the workshop, which was held for 1.5 days within the scope of AYBU SFL Summer Work. The workshop consisted of 3 sessions, each using different reflective techniques. With the aim to provide an opportunity to experience the implementation framework and techniques of advising tools to be applied in the classroom setting, the particpants were introduced the structured Learning Advising System conducted at AYBU. The workshop helped the lecturers to reflect on their teaching and learning experiences, building positive relationships and creating a fun learning environment.
The feedback at the end of the workshop consisted of 10 survey responses with positive and meaningful reflections. The best news is that 9 lecturers expressed their willingness to become LAP Club Facilitators. The Learning Advisory Program Unit is happy to announce a great development for the next academic year!
