The 7th International Conference on Russian Language Education: “Contemporary Issues in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language in the Context of Global Changes” will be held on 10–11 April 2026 at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University. The conference is organized by the Russian Language and Culture Center (RUSMER) in cooperation with the AYBU School of Foreign Languages.
This conference is an international academic event that brings together distinguished scholars, methodologists, and practitioners from both Turkey and abroad, providing a platform for sharing valuable research, studies, practices, and projects. The conference aims to improve the quality of teaching Russian as a foreign language, analyze the challenges and needs encountered in the teaching process, develop possible solutions, share information on teachers’ professional development opportunities, and introduce new teaching materials.
Following the conference, an electronic proceedings book with an ISBN number will be published. The language of the conference presentations and papers will be Russian.
