Dr. Tarık UZUN delivered a professional development session titled Bridging Theory and Practice in Pronunciation Teaching at the Ankara University School of Foreign Languages on 3 December 2025.
Organized by the School’s Professional Development Unit, the event explored the theoretical foundations of pronunciation teaching together with their practical classroom applications. Dr. Uzun shared current approaches to second language pronunciation teaching and offered examples that highlighted the importance of an intelligibility-based approach, the challenges commonly faced by teachers, and practical strategies for addressing them in the classroom.
