Dr. Tuğba KARABULUT, a lecturer at the School of Foreign Languages, invited by Prof. Dr. Işıl BAŞ DE OLİVERİA, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at İstinye University, delivered a lecture titled “Imagism and Vorticism in Modernist Art and Poetry” on May 29, 2025, at the Department of English Language and Literature at İstinye University.
The event, which began at 3:00 PM, featured Dr. Karabulut discussing the Imagist and Vorticist movements—which hold a significant place within modernist art and poetry—in the context of both literary and visual arts. The event, attended by academics and students from the department, fostered an interactive atmosphere shaped by the participants’ keen interest.
