STATA Software-Supported Data Analysis Training Certificate Program

Program Objective: The objective of the certificate program, which was approved by the Senate of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University on 21/01/2025 with decision number 2025/02/05, is to provide basic quantitative data analysis training supported by STATA software. The program will discuss the applications of quantitative data analysis, explain the types of data, introduce basic STATA software for data management and analysis, and offer hands-on training in data management, modeling, and analysis.

Application Requirements:

  • * Individuals holding a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • * Participants must have a laptop with at least an i5 processor.
  • * STATA 18 license will be provided to participants for the duration of the program.

Application Evaluation and Acceptance of Participants: A minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 applicants will be accepted to the program. Applications will be received through Google Forms, and the program coordinators will approve the applications. The first 20 applicants will be notified via email. If more than 20 applications are received, the applicants will be informed that they will be considered for the next training session.

Quota: Each training session requires a minimum of 10 participants to be opened. A maximum of 20 participants will be accepted for each session.

Certificates Awarded Upon Completion of the Program: Participants must attend the program regularly. A Certificate of Completion and a Participation Certificate will be awarded. To receive the Certificate of Completion, participants must attend at least 80% of the sessions and score at least 70 out of 100 on assignments and exams. The final score will be calculated by giving 50% weight to the assignment score and 50% to the final exam score. Participants who meet the attendance requirement but do not fulfill the certification criteria will receive a Participation Certificate.

Validity of the Certificate: The certificate has unlimited validity.

Evaluation and Success Criteria: Regular attendance is required for participation in the program. To receive a Certificate of Completion, participants must meet the following requirements: 80% attendance An average score of at least 70 out of 100 from assignments and exams.
The final success score will be based on 50% of the assignment grade and 50% of the success/certification exam result. If a participant does not meet the certification criteria but has 80% attendance, they will receive a Participation Certificate.

Exam Procedures: Throughout the program, assignments will be given. At the end of the program, there will be a practical exam (computer-based). The exam will cover data uploading, data management, modeling, data analysis, and interpretation of results. The exam will last two hours.

Week 2:  April 12, 2025, Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Week 3:  April 19, 2025, Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Week 4:  April 26, 2025, Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Week 5:  May 3, 2025, Saturday, 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Program Duration: A total of 24 hours, over 5 weeks, in face-to-face format.

Program Location: Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Cinnah Campus

Program Fee: The program fee is 10,000 TL per participant. No refund will be made once registration is completed.
