Strong Collaboration in Vocational Education Between ASO and Universities

Ankara Chamber of Industry (ASO) signed the Vocational Schools Education Cooperation Protocol with Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Hacettepe University, Gazi University, and Ankara University to improve the quality of vocational education and strengthen university–industry cooperation.

The protocol, implemented during the signing ceremony hosted by ASO, aims to align vocational school curricula with industry needs, introduce students to real production environments at an early stage, and enhance post-graduation employment opportunities.

Within the scope of the protocol, the following institutions will work in close cooperation with ASO:

  • Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University – Technical Sciences Vocational School

  • Ankara University – Gama Vocational School

  • Gazi University – TUSAŞ Vocational School

  • Hacettepe University – Başkent Organized Vocational School

Speaking at the ceremony, ASO President Seyit Ardıç emphasized the importance of integrating vocational education with production and employment, stating that this partnership would create a practice-based and sustainable cooperation model.

  • Ankara University Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Ünüvar

  • Gazi University Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal

Representing Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Technical Sciences Vocational School, the event was attended by the Director of the Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Orman.

The signed protocol is expected to make significant contributions to strengthening vocational education, preparing students for industry with stronger competencies, and institutionalizing university–industry cooperation.
