In accordance with the requirements of the information age where cultural, political and economic borders are removed and interaction is at the highest level; The main mission of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Institute of Social Sciences is to create an educational structure that will understand the needs and expectations of the society, take an active role in the process of producing information, projects and solutions in line with this understanding, and be guided by freedoms and equality. To serve as a transparent institution where scientific studies are carried out at the highest level, adhering to the principle of excellence, establishing a link between theory and practice, predicting and analyzing social phenomena and events from an academic perspective, exhibiting a principled and consistent approach.

To be recognized as an outstanding, high quality and effective institution in the field of Social Sciences in line with the vision of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University and adhering to its founding values. To determine the needs of the society through thesis, non-thesis and doctoral programs, to renew itself with criticism and suggestions in this process; to provide a quality and egalitarian education where different cultural identities can produce and share knowledge together, to provide the best service to academics and students both academically and administratively, to update the Institute web page as required by the communication age and to respond to every information and request requested with the Institute information system.
