The workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Higher Education: Redesigning Curricula,” organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University (AYBU), was held on September 10, 2026.
Convened upon the invitation of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Tutar, the workshop was attended by scholars from the Departments of Art History, History, and Architecture, as well as the Faculty of Islamic Sciences (Theology). Participants assessed the impact of artificial intelligence on higher education and curricula while developing collaborative solutions. Key topics discussed included the use of AI in visual analysis, phased integration into elective courses, and inter-institutional collaboration.
The Department of Art History will continue its initiatives in line with the insights and recommendations established during the workshop.
