Announcement on Course Registration Procedures and Tuition/Contribution Fee Payments – Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year

Dear Students,

Course registration procedures will be carried out online through the Student Information System on the dates specified below. Students enrolled in the Preparatory Class are not required to register for courses. Accordingly:

  • For Associate and Undergraduate programs (except for the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry): September 15–17, 2025

  • For Graduate programs: September 11–17, 2025

During these dates, course registrations for the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year will be completed by students themselves by following the steps outlined below. For course registration, ECTS credit limits, and other regulations, please refer to the relevant legislation. Students who are required to pay tuition/contribution fees must first complete their payment process and then proceed with course registration.

Course Registration Steps

  1. Log in to the Student Information System with your username (student ID) and password.

  2. Follow the tabs: Course and Semester Transactions > Course Registration > Class Courses – Semester Courses – Non-Curriculum Department Courses to select and confirm your courses.

  3. Course registration approval requests will be checked and approved by the student’s advisor through the Academic Information System.

  4. Students whose course registration contains errors or deficiencies may make the necessary corrections with the help of their advisor during the registration period.

  5. Students who do not complete course registration within the specified period will be considered as having not renewed their registration for the semester. Even if they attend classes and take exams, their attendance and exams will be deemed invalid.

  6. Courses not approved by the advisor will be considered as not registered. Therefore, in order to avoid any issues, students must carry out the registration and approval process in close communication with their advisors.

  7. Students who fail to complete course registration within the specified dates will not be able to register or make changes during the Add/Drop period. To prevent any inconvenience, students are required to complete their procedures on time.

Tuition/ Contribution Fee Payments

Students who have exceeded the normal period of study, those admitted through international student quotas, students enrolled in a second university, students completing an undergraduate program, students in Non-Thesis Master’s Programs, and students enrolled in evening programs must first pay the tuition/contribution fee in order to register for courses.

Students in these categories are required to deposit the tuition/contribution fee specified in the Student Information System for the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year by September 17, 2025. Payments can be made without an account number, directly using the student ID number, through Halkbank branches, internet banking, or ATMs under the “Education Payments” section.
