Within the framework of ÖĞMER, a training titled Adult Learning for Professional Development is being provided to enhance the consulting and mentoring skills of the senior staff of the Competition Authority and to enable them to effectively guide new personnel. The training, coordinated by Dr. Lecturer Mümin ŞEN and delivered by Gamze Güven Yalçın and Hatice Karaaslan, will begin on January 15, 2024.
The content of the training focuses on understanding the principles of consulting and mentoring, and effectively applying these principles in alignment with Competition Law. Participants will grasp key skills such as effective communication, guidance, providing feedback, and problem-solving, while also understanding the importance of the mentoring process. The program offers senior staff/trainers effective educational strategies and techniques, supported by interactive learning methods and case studies. Additionally, trainers will be guided on how to identify the needs of new personnel, set learning objectives, and track progress.
The goal of this program is to assist senior staff in developing an effective in-house training program for newly hired employees. In this way, knowledge and experience transfer is ensured within the institution, and the integration and performance improvement of new personnel contribute to enhancing organizational effectiveness.
