The 2026–2027 Academic Board Meeting of the Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University was held with the participation of Dean Prof. Dr. İhsan Toktaş.
The meeting began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem, followed by opening remarks from Prof. Dr. İhsan Toktaş. A Knowledge-Sharing Session was then held, moderated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Taner Aşçı, with the participation of Assist. Prof. Dr. Fahri Yılmaz and Lecturer Dr. Ömer Faruk Pamak.
During the meeting, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Emre Dinçer addressed quality assurance initiatives, activities related to the THE Impact Rankings, the Hafıza AYBÜ Portal, and faculty performance evaluations. Vice Dean Assist. Prof. Dr. Taner Aşçı discussed agenda items concerning improvements to faculty facilities, administrative arrangements, committee activities, community engagement, and international collaboration.
Nazmi Balcı, who will be leaving his position at the faculty to take up a new role, was recognized for his dedicated service and valuable contributions. Appreciation was expressed for his efforts, and he was wished success in his new position.
The meeting continued with evaluations by the Departments of Architecture, Visual Communication Design, Industrial Design, and Digital Game Design, and concluded with closing remarks and participants' comments and suggestions..
