The foundation phase of the Brick’ed Workshop was carried out in the designated area in front of our department building, with the contribution of Işıklar Tuğla and the support of expert craftsmen on 27 November 2025. We extend our sincere thanks to İzzet Özdemir and Tuğba Budak from Işıklar Tuğla for their continuous support throughout the design and construction process, Osman Çelik and Ramazan Çelik from Umde İnşaat Malzemeleri and Tolga Öztürk from Özkul Beton Elemanları.
The Brick’ed Workshop, conducted as part of the ARCH114 Building and Construction Technology course and coordinated by Dr. İlkay Dinç Uyaroğlu, Çiğdem Aytekin, and Sena Türe during the 2024–2025 Spring Academic Semester, was designed to introduce students to hands-on professional experience from the very beginning of their architectural education. Special thanks to our students whose efforts were invaluable in all phases of designing and constructing the brick furniture.
