A technical site trip to Karabük is conducted in the scope of the Vertical Studios (Group 3 and Group 4) with coordination of Assoc. Prof. Şeyda Emekçi and Assist. Prof. Cemile Feyzan Şimşek. The students visited their project site in Safranbolu and worked on a site analysis as teams. They also had the chance to visit and observe the architectural qualities of a Unesco heritage site, Safranbolu Historical City Center, which defines the context of the 2023 Fall semester's studio class for Groups 3 and 4. The students are accompanied by Res. As. Aslı Zeynep Doğan, Res. As. Buse Akçay Pehlivanoğlu, and guest members Architect Kubilay Karagül, Architect Ayhan Türker, Architect Enes Öner, and Architect Elif Adak through their technical site trip.
Doç. Dr. Şeyda Emekçi ve Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Cemile Feyzan Şimşek'in koordinasyonuyla, Dikey Stüdyolar (Grup 3 ve Grup 4) kapsamında Karabük'e teknik bir arazi gezisi düzenlendi. Öğrenciler, Safranbolu'daki projelerini ziyaret ettiler ve ekipler halinde arazi analizi üzerinde çalıştılar. Grup 3 ve Grup 4 öğrencileri 2023 Sonbahar dönemi stüdyo sınıflarının bağlamını oluşturan Unesco mirası Safranbolu Tarihi Kent Merkezi'ni ziyaret etme ve mimari özelliklerini gözlemleme fırsatı buldular. Öğrencilere teknik arazi gezisi sırasında Ar. Gör. Aslı Zeynep Doğan, Ar. Gör. Buse Akçay Pehlivanoğlu ve misafir üyeler Mimar Kubilay Karagül, Mimar Ayhan Türker, Mimar Enes Öner ve Mimar Elif Adak eşlik ettiler.
