Encyclopedia of Islam
Encyclopaedia of Islam Online (EI Online) includes all published volumes of the 2nd edition (EI2) and 3rd edition (EI3) of the Encyclopaedia of Islam. Work on the latest edition, which was launched in 2007, is still ongoing. The EI Online search engine automatically searches the most popular and up-to-date results from both editions. Users have access to all content from EI2 (1955–2005) and EI3 (2007–present).

Approximately 125–150 new articles are added to Encyclopaedia of Islam Online every two months, amounting to around 800,000 words annually. The Historical Atlas of Islam, featuring 90 maps, was also added to this reference resource in 2012.

Index Islamicus Online
Index Islamicus Online provides access to international, classified bibliographic records of publications covering all subject areas related to Islam and the Muslim world, in various European languages. It offers access to more than 600,000 records dating from 1906 to the present and covering over 5,000 journals.
• Index Islamicus is updated four times a year, with approximately 5,000–6,000 new records added every three months.
• Index Islamicus is not a primary source in itself. Rather, it serves as a comprehensive research guide to other sources and literature, designed to assist researchers interested in studying religion, culture and the Muslim world. It is an extensive and continuously expanding database comprising books, journal articles and news sources.
• The publications included in Index Islamicus can be browsed using a classification system and a thesaurus of synonyms. These classifications cover a wide range of subjects, including topics directly or indirectly related to Islam, such as Modern Turkish History and Turkish Nationalism.
