Recently, it has been detected that misleading messages are being sent from fake email addresses across our institution, mimicking our Turnitin/iThenticate systems and containing content such as "You have been registered to a Turnitin account."
To protect your information security, we kindly request that you pay attention to the following points:
Check the sender address: All official informational emails from Turnitin are only sent from the noreply@turnitin.com address. Do not trust messages from sources other than this address.
Do not click on links: Do not click on any links or download attachments in emails that appear suspicious or whose source you have not verified.
Take necessary action: If you receive such an email, mark it as "spam" or "phishing" in your inbox before replying or forwarding it. This will help prevent similar attacks.
