Within the scope of the EKUAL Project, conducted by TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM; access to electronic journals published by the Royal Society of Chemistry (from 2008 to the present) is provided as of 2026.
Furthermore, as of February 2026, APC support will be provided to a certain number of articles through the Open Access (OA) article publishing (Read & Publish) model.
The OA article country quota (fully open access/gold journals and hybrid journals) determined for the 2026-2028 period is as follows:
• 2026: Gold + Hybrid/255
• 2027: Gold + Hybrid/260
• 2028: Gold + Hybrid/260
Within this scope;
- Our researchers (active faculty members) have the right to publish articles in Gold OA and Hybrid OA journals throughout the agreement period, provided they are the responsible author.
- Article submissions should be made via the institutional email address (aybu.edu.tr).
- The acceptance date of the articles must be within the current agreement period.
- The "first come, first served" principle applies. If the article is accepted and there is no quota available, the APC fee will be the responsibility of the author. If the quota is filled, you can publish your article in Hybrid journals as "inaccessible" (free of charge), and in Gold journals, you can continue by paying the APC fee in person.
Journal List and Information
Before submitting an article to a journal, it is recommended to check whether the journal is a Hybrid or Gold journal and to review the steps in the "Author Application Process Help File".
