As the Business School at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, we hosted Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cem Korkut. Our guest delivered an academic seminar titled “Ottoman Cash Waqfs as the Pioneers of Contemporary Participation Banking: Findings from an Archival Analysis of Approximately 1,000 Cash Waqf Deeds,” in which he examined Ottoman cash waqfs from historical and theoretical perspectives.
