For some countries there are no visa requirements and incoming students do not need to apply for any type of visa to the Turkish Embassy/Consulates.
If you are coming from a country that requires student visa for entering Turkey, please make sure you apply after being selected and arrange your travel accordingly. You can check the nearest Turkish Consulate/Embassy and the required documents from the following link: http://www.mfa.gov.tr/turkish-representations.en.mfa. Although documents may differ usually applicants are required to submit:
- Application Fee in accordance with the country you are coming from;
- Letter of Acceptance proving your official acceptance as an exchange student at AYBU;
- A valid until the end of the estimated duration Passport;
- Proof of Finances document;
- Travel Insurance
