A valid in Turkey health insurance is a must for incoming students. Students who prefer to purchase health insurance in their home countries are recommended to prefer insurance companies that have agents operating in Turkey so that certification in Turkish is easier. The certified health insurance document must include a statement that assures the fulfilment of the requirements for obtaining a residence permit in Turkey.
A private health insurance can also be purchased from insurance companies in Turkey. Your Erasmus mentor student will assist you during the procedures.
