AYBU warmly welcomes eligible exchange students. Who is eligible?
Your home higher education institution should have a signed Bilateral Exchange Protocol with AYBU;
You should be a full-time student;
Your GPA should be at least 2.50 (on a 4 point scale) if you are associate/undergraduate student or 3.00 if you are MA/PhD student;
You need to be nominated by your home institution;
You need to have a good command of English as the language of study at AYBU is English.
Nomination
For the application procedure to start, first the Higher Education council of Turkey should make an announcement followed by an application call by AYBU International Office to partner higher education institutions. Then you should be nominated by your home institution. Our partner institution should send us an official nomination notice. Once you are nominated, you will be reported to the Turkish Higher Education Council for scholarship.
Application
You should follow the Mevlana Exchange Program protocols and fill in the documents as stated below:
- Student Application Form
- Learning Protocol
- Student Declaration
Once you receive your letter of acceptance, you should initiate your visa process.
You should send the signed and scanned copies of your:
- Letter of Acceptance
- Learning Protocol
- Student Declaration Form
- Student Scholarship Agreement
- Transcript of Records in English

When you come to AYBU, you need to submit the hard copies or you can send them to our postal address.
