Members of the Nanotechnology Society of Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University visited the Hydrogen Technologies and Energy Application and Research Center (H2TEAM), where they gained comprehensive insights into energy technologies. The visit program began with a laboratory tour conducted under the guidance of Research Assistant Ahmed Emin Kılıç.
During the laboratory tour, students had the opportunity to closely examine electrolyzer systems, PEM Fuel Cells, Solid Oxide Fuel Cells, as well as test stations developed within the Center, and to learn about their operating principles.
Following the laboratory visit, a center presentation was delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Begüm Ünveroğlu Abdioğlu, Deputy Director of the Center. The presentation provided an overview of the Center’s activities and addressed the role and importance of nanotechnology in fuel cell technologies, highlighting current research topics and application areas.
At the end of the event, as part of a knowledge-sharing activity, students who correctly answered questions on “Nanotechnology and Fuel Cells” were awarded a copy of the book “Nanofabrication Techniques,” edited by faculty members of the Center.
This visit contributed significantly to the students’ acquisition of both theoretical and practical knowledge, while also enhancing their awareness of energy technologies and nanotechnology-related research fields.
