Our Center Director, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Çelik, was a guest on TV Enerji's "Tespam Özel" program.

In this special broadcast prepared by the Turkish Energy Strategies and Policies Research Center (TESPAM) and moderated by Yekpa Ahmed, Prof. Dr. Selahattin Çelik and Prof. Dr. Yüksel Kaplan of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University assessed the future of hydrogen technologies, their role in the energy transition, and Turkey's strategic potential in this area.

Prof. Dr. Çelik defined hydrogen as an energy carrier, not an energy source, emphasizing the inevitability of the transition to clean energy in line with carbon neutrality goals. He also stated that Turkey has a significant advantage in the production and export of green hydrogen from renewable sources such as wind and solar.
