Prof. Dr. Selahattin Çelik, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and Director of the Hydrogen Technologies and Energy Application and Research Center (H2TEAM), and Prof. Dr. Hasan Özcan, faculty member of our department and Deputy Director of H2TEAM, attended the Hydrogen Technology Conference & Expo World 2025 event held in Hamburg, Germany, from October 20–22, 2025.
This year's event, held at Hamburg Messe, one of Germany's leading exhibition centers, served as a highly productive platform for observing the global transformation in hydrogen technologies and following new developments. This prestigious center, with approximately 87,000 m² of indoor exhibition space and 11 modern halls, annually brings together thousands of participants from the worlds of academia, industry, and technology.
One of the striking aspects of the event was the significant increase in the number of companies focusing on hydrogen production technologies and electrolyzer components. Compared to previous years, a much broader variety of electrolyzer technologies was observed this year.
During the event, the foundations of new collaborations were laid between our university and international industry representatives.
