An Engineering Triumph: 15-Year-Old Electrolyzer Maintains High Performance

🔬 Today, we carried out the durability tests of a PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) electrolyzer prototype developed in Türkiye approximately 15 years ago.

As a result of the comprehensive degradation analyses, it was determined that the system exhibited only a performance loss of less than 15%.

This finding clearly reveals the engineering vision of the period, the accuracy of the material selection and the high quality in the design process.

📐 Active Area: 100 cm²
🔟 Cellular Stack Structure
⚡ Efficiency: 82%
🛡 Working Pressure: Up to 50 Bar

Despite the fifteen years that have passed, the fact that the system is still operating with high performance once again reveals the engineering capacity and potential that our country has in the field of renewable energy and hydrogen technologies.

I sincerely congratulate all the engineers, researchers and stakeholders who contributed to this success.

🚀 We are moving towards the future with stronger steps with the accumulation of the past.
