The staff of the Hydrogen Technologies and Energy Application and Research Center have significantly increased their competencies in testing and simulation with the AVL Fire M and AVL Cruise M licenses provided by AVL. These licenses will enable the center to conduct more comprehensive and advanced analyses in its research on hydrogen technologies and energy systems.
AVL is a globally recognized provider of testing and simulation solutions for automotive, energy and advanced engineering. AVL Fire M software provided by AVL offers advanced modeling capabilities for combustion analysis and thermal management simulations, while AVL Cruise M is a powerful tool for vehicle system dynamics and energy management analysis.
With this software, researchers at the center will be able to conduct more precise and reliable analyses on fuel cells, battery systems and powertrain mechanisms. In particular, advanced simulations on critical topics such as electrochemical reactions, energy conversion efficiency and system performance evaluations will be possible.
This important step is a strategic contribution to the center's vision of supporting innovations in the field of hydrogen energy by strengthening its research and development activities.
