The Department of Biostatistics was established in 2010 under the Division of Basic Medical Sciences within the Faculty of Medicine. The department offers biostatistics courses primarily to both English and Turkish programs of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as to other basic medical sciences and nursing departments.
In addition to offering courses at various undergraduate and postgraduate levels, our department also conducts a Master of Science program in Biostatistics within its own graduate and doctoral programs. Beyond its educational activities, the department provides research and statistical analysis consultancy services to both faculty members within the central campus and researchers from outside the university.
There are currently 2 Professors, 3 Assistant Professors and 1 Research Assistant working in our department.
The language of instruction is Turkish.
